Job Description
As a Social Media Manager at Amazon, you will play a vital role in shaping our digital identity and executing engaging social media strategies that resonate with our customers across various platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to enhance brand awareness and engagement.
- Create engaging and high-quality content across multiple social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics, using data to refine strategies and improve outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, PR, and customer service, to ensure cohesive messaging across all platforms.
- Stay updated on industry trends, platform updates, and emerging technologies to keep Amazon at the forefront of social media innovation.
- Engage with our online community to foster relationships and boost brand loyalty.
- Manage and mentor a small team of social media specialists, providing guidance and fostering professional growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Social Media Manager or in a similar role.
- Proven track record of developing successful social media campaigns that drive engagement and revenue.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in social media analytics tools.
- Experience with paid social media advertising and community management.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with graphic design and video editing is a plus.
- Knowledge of SEO and content marketing principles.
- Familiarity with influencer marketing and partnerships.
- Agile and adaptable; able to pivot strategies quickly based on real-time feedback.
